Warranty and warranty extension

MANTI MANTI glasses are extremely durable and can withstand a lot. However, should something break, we're here for you!
In case of damage, please send us an email with photos of the damage to werkstatt@mantimanti.de. We will assess the defect and assist you with appropriate repair or replacement.

WARRANTY

Our frames are covered by a statutory warranty period of 24 months. Should a material defect or fault occur during this period that is due to the manufacturing process or was already present upon delivery, we will replace the defective part free of charge.
Handling errors, such as incorrect cleaning or improper use, are not covered. For this, the optional MANTI CARE warranty extension is available.

MANTI CARE

For a one-time fee of €39 per year, you can add our MANTI CARE extended warranty to your glasses. This provides simple coverage for your glasses up to a maximum of €250 against many types of damage. Depending on our damage assessment, parts of the glasses can be replaced multiple times as needed, or the entire pair can be replaced once. MANTI CARE is often worthwhile even if only part of the glasses is damaged. Wear and tear on the lenses is not covered.
In addition to the statutory warranty, handling errors such as incorrect cleaning or improper use are also covered.

MANTI CARE FAQ

What is covered?
If your MANTI MANTI children's glasses break due to improper handling, the MANTI CARE extended warranty will help. MANTI CARE covers up to €250 for repair or replacement. Signs of wear and tear on the glasses are not included.

What is not covered?
MANTI CARE does not cover damage, loss, or theft of your glasses. Changes in prescription and normal wear and tear (including on the lenses) are also not covered.

How long is the MANTI CARE valid for?
MANTI CARE is valid for 12 months and costs a one-time fee of €39. It does not renew automatically.

What should I do if something happens?
Please report the damage within 14 days.

The maximum damage value has been used up/I do not have a MANTI CARE extended warranty.

General Terms and Conditions MANTI CARE

1. General
1.1. The MANTI CARE extended warranty offers protection for MANTI children's glasses against handling errors.
1.2. The contracting party is MANTI MANTI GmbH.

2. Scope of Contract
2.1. Damage to MANTI MANTI children's glasses caused by unforeseen handling errors is covered.
2.2. The covered handling errors include, but are not limited to:

  • Unintentional breakage or bending of the eyeglass frame due to improper handling.
  • Damage caused by accidental dropping or impact while wearing the glasses.
2.3. The following are not covered:
  • Normal signs of wear and tear, especially scratches and wear on the lenses due to daily use.
  • Change in visual acuity or visual acuity.
  • Loss or theft of the glasses.
 

3. Damage value and performance
3.1. The maximum compensation for damages is €250 for the repair or replacement of the MANTI MANTI children's glasses.
3.2. Should the glasses be beyond repair, MANTI MANTI GmbH will provide a replacement up to the maximum value of the coverage amount of €250.
3.3. Costs are only covered up to the amount of the determined damage value. For repairs or replacement parts exceeding €250, the contractual partner bears the difference.

4. Contract duration and renewal
4.1. The contract has a term of 12 months, beginning on the date of conclusion of the contract.
4.2. The contract ends automatically after the 12 months and does not renew automatically.
4.3. The customer has the option to renew MANTI CARE for another 12 months by paying the corresponding contract fee for the following year. A new contract can be concluded at any time before the end of the 12-month period.

5. Contract contribution and payment
5.1. The annual contract fee is €39.
5.2. The fee is due annually in advance and can be paid by bank transfer or via other payment methods offered by MANTI MANTI GmbH.
5.3. In case of late payment, MANTI MANTI GmbH may temporarily suspend contractual performance until the outstanding payment has been received.

6. Claims reporting and processing
6.1. The customer is obliged to report any damage to MANTI MANTI GmbH immediately after it occurs, but no later than 14 days after becoming aware of the damage.
6.2. Damages must be reported to MANTI MANTI GmbH by telephone, email, or in one of our stores. MANTI MANTI GmbH will then explain the further procedure, which usually involves sending the damaged glasses for inspection and repair.
6.3. Claims processing will be carried out by MANTI MANTI GmbH after inspection and may include the replacement of the eyeglass frame or the repair of the damaged part. If a repair is not possible, a replacement will be provided up to the maximum value of the claim.

7. Termination
7.1. The customer may terminate MANTI CARE at any time before the end of the 12-month period with a notice period of 30 days.
7.2. Termination must be in writing and becomes effective upon receipt of the termination notice by MANTI MANTI GmbH.
7.3. MANTI MANTI GmbH's right to terminate the contract for good cause remains unaffected.

8. General Provisions
8.1. The customer undertakes to care for and use the glasses in accordance with the supplied instructions for use.
8.2. MANTI MANTI GmbH reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions as needed. Customers will be notified of any changes in writing at least 30 days before they come into effect.

9. Disclaimer
9.1. MANTI MANTI GmbH accepts no liability for damages resulting from the loss or theft of the glasses.
9.2. There is no entitlement to compensation if the glasses are no longer repairable and the coverage amount of €250 is exceeded.
9.3. A service is not provided if the damage was caused by intentional acts or gross negligence on the part of the customer.

10. Final Provisions
10.1. German law applies.
10.2. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of MANTI MANTI GmbH, insofar as legally permissible.
